Diagnosis

Mesoscutum and scutellum dark golden-green, metallic bluish-green or bluish-purple, mesoscutum with raised and strong reticulation, scutellum with engraved and rather strong reticulation; femora metallic bluish-green with apex yellowish-white; tibiae yellowish-white; propodeum with submedian grooves reticulate; first gastral tergite with posterior ½ with weak and round to strong and elongate punctures. Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Honduras, Panama, Peru , Trinidad & Tobago.

Biology

From Drosophilidae indet. (Diptera) on Zea mays (Poaceae), Ophiomyia sp. (Diptera: Agromyzidae) on Lantana sp. (Verbenaceae), Apanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from Peleopoda sp. (Lepidoptera: Oecophoridae) on Elaeis guineensis (Arecaceae), eggs of Polychalma sp. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), Charianthus corymbosus (Melastomataceae), and flowerhead of an unidentified Asteraceae.
